Our zero-kilometre supply chain featured in the Largo Consumo report.

Our zero-kilometre supply chain, an ethical and comprehensive model.
Our commitment to quality and sustainability was highlighted in the Production Chains report by Largo Consumo magazine.
The article tells our story, which began in the 1960s and has now reached its third generation, with a clear vision: to be leading players in an integrated, complete and transparent supply chain.
What makes us unique?
- An integrated and zero-kilometre supply chain: with the strategic acquisition of the slaughterhouse adjacent to our processing centre, we have created an ultra-short supply chain. This means a drastic reduction in transport, maximum animal welfare and total control over the product, from breeding to point of sale.
- Back to our roots: the Società Agricola Centrocarne and the Manzetta d’Abruzzo project are proof of our deep bond with the land. We promote local and sustainable production that protects biodiversity and supports the economies of small villages in Abruzzo.
- Quality and innovation: we define ourselves as “Meat Tailors” for our artisanal attention to every cut. From specialised lines such as Ruka Beef (high marbling and intense flavour) to fresh preparations and the Mai Sazi range of cold cuts, we offer excellence for every channel and customer.
- Commitment to sustainability: in addition to investing in the new slaughterhouse and ClassyFarm-certified barns, we have published our first 2024 Sustainability Report, a tool of transparency that formalises our ethical model.
At Centro Carne, we are not driven by large numbers, but by selective clients who choose a product of true value. Purchasing our products means supporting the local economy and a daily working method that places the balance between people and the land at the heart of every decision.
